Did you know that Amazon.com has free MP3s and e-books?
Right after Christmas I discovered the free music. I was thrilled because much of the music is classical, such as Mozart. In fact I was able to download, for free, what has to be one of my favorite classical pieces of all time; the “Moonlight Sonata”
Yesterday I learned that you can download the Kindle for PC for free and that Amazon offers many free books this way. Most are classics, but apparently as a promotional opportunity, they offer many current books for free as well. In fact right now they are offering books by Brandilyn Collins, Margaret Daly, Tracie Peterson, and Beverly Lewis for free! (Not all of their books, just one or two of them).
Later today or tomorrow I’ll have to write a review on Beverly Lewis’ book The Shunning, but suffice it to say, this free e-books are wonderful for folks who need something to read.

cool. I love free music. =) I will have to wonder over there and see what they have.
BTW – iTunes gives away a few new songs every week (mostly from new, up-and-coming artists). Granted you have to download the iTunes software – but, then again, I personally think that iTunes is the best digital music software currently out there due to the ease of organizing play lists, albums, genres, etc. =)
I didn’t know itunes did that too. Makes sense – its likely the music companies that do choose which songs are free.
I’ve tried to get songs from itunes downloaded on my mp3 player (it said that I could download both mp3 and the format itunes uses) but that was a joke. So I stopped wasting my money. I won’t buy an iPod
