Sometimes I talk about So You Think You Can Dance on my blog. Dance is one of my all time favorite shows. My favorite reality show and something I look forward to each summer.
Last night there was a performance that took my breath away. If you’ve never seen Dance you need to watch this clip. I’m serious in that you need to watch it (my thoughts below):
When Melissa and Ade finished the piece, my immediate thought was “That’s it? That felt too short.” I loved Melissa’s costume because of its simplicity. Their movement, their emotion was tangible. I didn’t start crying until the moment Nigel’s face turned bright red and I knew, just knew he was doing everything he could to keep from bursting out. Mia’s emotion was heartwrenching.
Like many others, I think this will become the performance that I will remember for a lifetime. Thank goodness for youtube.
